Lets Work Together

At NicholsonAudio, our goal is simple: to empower local churches to spread the word through worship music and sermons using the latest and greatest tech.

We help you remove distractions, strengthen your volunteer team, and create an audio experience that supports your mission—not complicates it.

If you're ready to strengthen your church’s audio experience, we’d love to work with you.

Meet Mitchell

Hey, I’m Mitchell! 👋 I’m the tech director at my local church in Paducah, KY and have helped lead powerful worship services through the latest audio technology. I love helping small to mid-size churches empower their volunteer sound teams with the gear they already have.

Beyond worship tech, I’m also a musician. I LOVE music directing (“MDing”) from the keys, shaping song dynamics behind the drum kit, and jumping in on guitar when needed. That hands-on experience on stage helps me bridge the gap between the worship team and the tech booth, creating better communication and better sound every Sunday.

I can’t wait to hear from you and see how I can help equip your team on Sundays. Fill out the quick form above so we can connect. All the best 🙂

Frequent Questions

  • What exactly does NicholsonAudio do?

NicholsonAudio helps churches improve their in-room and livestream audio by offering system evaluation, volunteer training, mix coaching (on-site or remote), troubleshooting, workflow redesign, and gear recommendations, all focused on making sound clear, consistent, and volunteer-friendly.

  • Do you only work with large churches?

No. Most of the churches NicholsonAudio serves are small to mid-sized with volunteer teams, basic systems, and limited budgets, and the service is specifically designed with those environments in mind.

  • Can you train volunteer teams with little or no experience?

Yes (and that's our passion)! NicholsonAudio specializes in teaching audio in a simple, practical way so that brand-new volunteers and experienced operators can both succeed and feel confident.

  • Do you travel for on-site consulting?

Yes, NicholsonAudio offers on-site visits when needed, but many issues can also be solved remotely through video calls, console sharing, and guided system walkthroughs.

  • What if we don’t need new equipment?

That’s completely fine. Most churches don’t need new gear—just better setup, training, and processes. NicholsonAudio works with your current equipment first and only recommends upgrades when they’re truly needed.

  • Can you help improve our livestream audio?

Yes. NicholsonAudio helps churches build proper broadcast mixes, set up matrix or bus sends, tune EQ and compression for online clarity, and add ambience for a more natural sound.

  • How much does consulting cost?

Quick onboarding sessions are FREE! This is used to determine how we can help you/your team. After that, pricing depends on whether you choose remote coaching, a single on-site session, multi-day training, or full system optimization, and NicholsonAudio provides clear pricing before work begins. Fill out the form to get a custom plan for your church.

  • Can NicholsonAudio help us choose the right equipment?

Yes. NicholsonAudio provides brand-neutral recommendations based on your room, budget, and worship style, with no pressure to buy specific gear.

  • How long does training take?

Initial training can happen in a single session, but ongoing training has the best results. NicholsonAudio offers one-time workshops, multi-session development, and remote follow-up coaching tailored to each church.

  • What makes NicholsonAudio different from other tech consultants?

We understand church culture, volunteer dynamics, and ministry needs—not just audio gear—so you get simplified systems, volunteer-friendly workflows, practical teaching, and a partner who genuinely cares about your mission.
